About Me

Welcome

Hello. I’m Sherrian. Thanks for visiting Sunlight Through the Shadows. I live with my husband in the beautiful West Sussex countryside just north of the South Downs, around seven miles from Brighton.

I’m retired following a very varied working life including secretarial and admin work; a junior manager working with concessionaires at Gatwick Airport; as a teaching assistant in a primary school; as a tutor helping adults improve their literacy skills; writing and delivering volunteer training; working for a charity for the Deaf; freelance editing and proofreading and providing domestic help and befriending for older people.

Now I have more free time, I like to read, garden, sing as a member of my local Rock Choir and write this blog, which I use to share the ways in which I’ve been led to reflect more deeply on my spiritual journey through everyday events.

I hope you’ll enjoy reading it and will tell others too! If you “Subscribe” – for which there is no cost – you’ll receive a notification each time I add a new blog post. I love it when people add comments about the posts. So feel free to let me know what you think and about your own experiences of finding God in everyday situations.

With every blessing

Sherrian
